Speaking of the spotlight, junior account manager, Alex, is no stranger to it. He is a former-actor-turned-marketer who now helps our clients nail every scene of their brand story on the first take. Learn a little more about Alex in the Q&A below!
What kind of music do you prefer to listen to in the car?
People say my music choice is that of 17-year-old’s, but that’s okay with me. I’ll listen to rap one minute, and then switch to Billy Joel the next.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Although I pursued acting for a few years right out of college, I really wanted to be someone who designed stadiums and arenas. I always liked looking at the architecture of iconic sports venues.
I am deathly afraid of heights and being upside down. Did my first ever forward-roll/tumble at the age of 24. But for some reason, I’ve never had a problem with airplanes, so I’m grateful for that.
Beverage of choice?
Jameson, on the rocks.
Warm brownie with vanilla ice cream!
What do you like about movies?
It sounds cliché, but you get to live through another human being. There’s something addicting about it, especially if you can relate to the characters.
What would you sing at karaoke night?
Never sang a karaoke song, and probably never will. This could fit in with one of my biggest fears.
What motivates you to work hard?
The way I see it you don’t really have a choice…and life is good, so just work hard and enjoy it.
Have you ever had a nickname?
What are your two biggest pet peeves?
Loud chewing, and people who say they liked your Facebook or Instagram pic, but didn’t actually hit the button. I call them ghost likers.
What is your favorite city in the U.S. and why?
Disney World…does that count? Regardless, it’s the best and I’m sticking to it.
What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Only been to one concert in my entire life: NYSNC when I was 10. My mom, brother, and I sat in the last row.
Alex is one of the most likable people you will ever meet, and a dedicated account manager who truly enjoys working with clients to up their marketing efforts. He might have been an actor in a past life, but here he is more of a director – and a great one at that.
