As an Account Manager at Netwave, your core responsibilities revolve around understanding client needs, managing projects efficiently and within budget, and contributing to business growth.
This role requires someone who is strategic, organized, and results-driven, with the ability to not only manage client accounts but also actively drive growth through thoughtful marketing strategies and consultative sales. Core Responsibilities
- Client Engagement:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of client needs and recommend effective strategies and tactics.
- Stay fully conversant with the company’s services and processes to confidently advise clients and estimate project costs.
- Project Management:
- Manage projects profitably by maintaining clear communication with the production team.
- Adhere to approved budgets and timelines, inform clients of project progress, and promptly address any scope deviations.
- Business Development:
- Take a proactive approach in suggesting new projects to clients.
- Actively seek opportunities for business growth and contribute to the expansion of the agency’s client base.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required (agency experience preferred)
- Proven track record of client growth and satisfaction
- Understanding of key marketing tactics, including:
- SEO
- Social Media (both paid advertising and organic)
- Digital Advertising (display, search, pre-roll video)
- Website Development (Platforms: Squarespace and WordPress)
- Lead Generation
- Content Marketing
- Ability to confidently sell services directly to clients and manage projects effectively
- Comfortable with in-person client meetings and relationship-building
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating with both internal teams and external contacts
- Experience working directly with creative teams and designers is beneficial
- Ability to report on and analyze marketing campaign performance, as well as manage marketing budgets
Bonus Skills
- Proficiency in Asana and other project management tools
- Experience with traditional media (print advertising, outdoor advertising, TV, radio)
